Here is a narrative passage from the New Testament which contains the story of the Gospel. And there is a passage that does not have a story line, such as one of Paul's letters. The same is true for the Old Testament selections.

 

This reading plan will takes the listener through the New Testament three times in a year and through the Old Testament once. The average listening time for this narrative / non-narrative Bible Listening plan is less than twenty minutes a day. The Psalms and Proverbs can be heard completely each month in about ten minutes a day.
