Narrative with Non-narrative Bible Reading

This Listening plan combines a narrative portion of Scripture from the New Testament with a section that is more of a teaching or an Epistle. For example, a chapter from the Gospels or the Book of Acts and a chapter from Romans. Each day a more historical portion from the Old Testament and a non-narrative section of Scripture such as a chapter from the prophets are combined as well.

In one year the listener goes through the New Testament three times and the Old Testament once. The Psalms and Proverbs are separate and listened to each month completely.  It takes about twenty minutes each day to go through the Bible this way and about ten minutes to listen to the daily Psalms and Proverbs.
